ORIGIN: “Castells” are human towers built by members of amateur groups, as part of annual festivities in Catalonian towns. - Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity
GROUP VALUE: guests interact with an amateur group. Our instructors teach guests the basic techniques and, in conjunction with the “castellers”, a castell is built and completed. The whole event forms an incredible team-building experience.
CASTELLS WORKSHOP
ORIGIN : La Tomatina is a street festival held in Buñol, Valencia on the last wednesday of every August. Locals and tourists alike battle and swim in a narrow street of Buñol until the street is converted into a tomato ketchup pool. About 150,000 tomatoes were thrown last year.
GROUP VALUE : We at Cutting Edge Events have designed our own version of “Tomatina”. The Event can be planned any day of the year, in a private state. The elements of the activity are : energetic guests, white clothing, swimming googles, water hoses, towels, music decibels and of course … tones of tomatoes.

We look for the perfect venue, we split the group in small teams, display the ingredients and then guests start to prepare the dish following our chef’s recipe and instructions. A cocktail is served whilst guests are cooking. After the meal, a jury decides which is the winning team, and prizes are awarded to the best.
